Ingredients
- 1 cup Black gram soaked overnight and boiled with salt
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 no bay leaf
- 1/2 inch Cinnamon stick
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- 3/4 tsp Dry mango powder ( amchur )
- 2 tsp Cumin powder roasted
- 1/4 tsp Asafotida
- To taste Salt
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder

Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add cinnamon, bay leaf and cumin seeds.
- Add asafotida and boiled black gram into pan.
- Add red chilli powder, dry mango powder, roasted cumin seeds powder and salt.
- Add a little water and cook for 2-3 min.
- Finish with garam masala powder. Ready to serve.
