PALAK PANEER KI BHURJI
Palak paneer ki bhurji is one of the easy, quick and healthy paneer recipes. Paneer bhurji is a simple dish, usually, we just make paneer bhurji. Palak paneer is a very popular and one of our favourite paneer gravy recipe. So thought, why not give a spinach twist to the regular paneer bhurji recipe and add some spinach leaves. This palak paneer ki bhurji is inspired by palak paneer. This is a paneer quick recipe and quick palak recipe. This is very simple dish but still very tasty.
If we talk about its nutritional value, it’s very healthy. Spinach is fighting cancer, discourage heart attack, build strong bones and promote gastrointestinal health. Its also a good source of vitamin K and C. Paneer is also a good source of protein for vegetarian. Paneer has minerals, carbohydrates, Kcal and good fat. This recipe is a blend of two healthy ingredients.
If you don’t want, you can avoid ginger-garlic but it gives a punch to the dish. Here I added tomatoes, that gives the moisture and keep the bhurji moist for a time. Personally, I don’t like dry bhurji.
Palak paneer ki bhurji goes very well with puri and paratha. You can do so many things with this, can make palak paneer Kathi roll, palak paneer sandwich.
Here are some recipes with cottage cheese (paneer) and spinach (palak)-
- 200 grm Cottage cheese (paneer) grated
- 200 grm Spinach shredded
- 1/4 cup Onion sliced
- 1/4 cup Tomatp chopped
- 2 no Green chilies finely chopped
- 1/2 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- To taste Salt
- 1 tsp Red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
- Coriander leaves finely chopped
- Heat butter in a pan, add cumin seeds.
- Add onion and ginger garlic paste, saute for 30 seconds.
- Add spinach, paneer, tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt and green chilies. Mix well, saute for few minutes.
- Now finish the dish with garam masala powder and fresh chopped coriander leaves.
- Palak Paneer ki Bhurji is ready to serve.
